6 Best Alternatives to the BRINBO SK01 Solar Pool Skimmer (2026)

How these skimmers compare

Letexpool C1 Cordless Pool Cleaner

The Letexpool C1 shifts focus from surface skimming to deep cleaning. It measures 15.7 by 15.9 by 11 inches, making it more compact than the BRINBO SK01. While the original relies on solar power, this unit is cordless, offering longer runtime for larger in-ground pools. It cleans walls and waterlines, areas the SK01 does not reach. You trade solar convenience for thorough wall scrubbing. Choose this if your pool has algae on vertical surfaces. The app control remains consistent, but you lose the passive solar charging benefit. It is a better fit for owners who want full coverage rather than just surface maintenance.

BRINBO C1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner

The BRINBO C1 offers extended runtime for in-ground pools. It measures 14.8 by 16.8 by 10.6 inches, significantly smaller than the SK01. This model prioritizes comprehensive wall and floor cleaning over surface skimming. It uses app control similar to the original but lacks the solar panel. You gain robust cleaning power for deep dirt but lose the ability to charge via sunlight. This unit suits users who prioritize scrubbing capabilities. The compact design allows it to navigate tighter spaces. If you need a robot that handles the entire pool interior, this is the upgrade. It gives up surface-only efficiency for full coverage performance.

AIPER Surfer S2 Solar Pool Skimmer

The AIPER Surfer S2 is a solar-powered alternative focused on budget-friendly surface maintenance. It measures 7.9 by 16.3 by 21.3 inches and weighs 12.6 pounds. Unlike the SK01, it lacks an adapter for cloudy days, relying solely on solar energy. It features obstacle avoidance and app control, matching the original's smart navigation. You get a lighter, simpler device for daily leaf removal. The compact size makes it easy to store. However, you sacrifice the large filter basket and dual charging flexibility. Pick this if you want a straightforward solar skimmer without extra accessories. It is ideal for small pools with minimal debris.

BRINBO SK01 Solar Pool Skimmer Robot

This BRINBO SK01 variant is a color alternative in Black Blue. It shares the same 20 by 24.6 by 7.8 inch dimensions as the Carbon Gray model. The specs, app control, and solar charging capabilities remain identical. You are choosing based on aesthetic preference rather than performance differences. The filter basket size and obstacle avoidance sensors are the same. This option suits users who want the exact same functionality but prefer a different finish. There is no technical advantage or disadvantage compared to the original. It is a direct substitute for those who find the Carbon Gray color unsuitable for their pool decor.

CZYBYTE Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner

The CZYBYTE P1181 offers strong suction and cordless power. It measures 15.2 by 15.6 by 8.86 inches, making it more compact than the SK01. This unit focuses on thorough debris removal rather than just surface skimming. It uses app control and cordless operation, eliminating the need for solar charging or adapters. You gain powerful suction for dirt and sand but lose the passive solar efficiency. The orange color stands out visually. This robot is better for pools with heavy debris or muddy conditions. Choose this if you prioritize suction strength over solar convenience. It provides a different cleaning approach for deeper maintenance.

BRINBO C1 180-Min Robotic Cleaner

The BRINBO C1 in Glossy Black is another full-cleaning option. It matches the 14.8 by 16.8 by 10.6 inch dimensions of the Frosted Gray Blue version. This model delivers deep cleaning for in-ground pools via app control. It lacks the solar panel found in the SK01, relying on internal battery power. You get comprehensive wall and floor scrubbing instead of surface-only cleaning. The compact design aids navigation in smaller pools. This unit is ideal for owners who want a robot that handles the entire pool interior. It gives up solar charging for extended runtime and deeper cleaning capabilities. Pick this for thorough maintenance rather than quick surface skimming.
