Who it fits

Key Specs Explained

Size: Nautilus CC with Caddy

This bundle includes the robotic vacuum and a universal caddy. The caddy allows you to move the unit easily across the pool deck. It also provides organized storage for the power cord. You benefit from reduced clutter and simpler transport. When shopping for robot vacuums, check if a carrying case is included. This accessory adds convenience for frequent use and long-term maintenance.

Length: 22 inches

The unit is 22 inches long. This dimension helps it fit inside standard pool skimmer baskets for transport. It also influences how the robot navigates the pool floor. A longer body may cover more area per pass. You should compare this size with your pool’s shape. Larger pools often require units with robust navigation systems to ensure full coverage.

Width: 14 inches

The width is 14 inches. This width determines how well the robot fits through narrow spaces. It affects the unit’s ability to climb walls and clean corners. A moderate width helps balance stability and maneuverability. You should check this measurement against your pool’s entry points. Compare it to other models to ensure it fits your specific pool dimensions.

Height: 8 inches

The height is 8 inches. This low profile allows the robot to navigate under pool ladders and benches. It ensures the unit can clean flat floors without getting stuck. You benefit from thorough cleaning in areas with obstacles. Compare this height with other robotic pool cleaners. A lower profile often indicates better ability to handle complex pool layouts.

Design and Build Quality

The Dolphin Nautilus CC measures 22 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 8 inches high. These dimensions define its footprint on your pool deck. The unit is black in color. The listing notes it weighs nothing specific, so you must check the box weight for lifting requirements. The included universal caddy changes how you handle this size. You can roll the robot across the deck without bending over. The caddy also holds the tangle-free cable. This keeps the power cord organized and away from pool edges. You avoid tripping hazards during setup and storage.

According to the listing, the exterior is built for durability over forty years of use. The active scrubbing brush is part of the internal layout. It contacts the pool surface gently but firmly. This design choice means you do not need to scrub manually. The top-load filter basket is positioned for easy access. You lift the lid to remove debris without tools. This layout simplifies maintenance after each cycle. The wall-climbing feature relies on the internal drive system. It climbs walls efficiently on various surfaces. You do not need to adjust the design for different pool shapes. The unit handles irregular surfaces automatically. The caddy ensures you can transport the 22-inch unit safely. You avoid carrying the heavy robot by hand. The design prioritizes practical movement and storage.

Setup And Daily Pool Care

Setting up the Dolphin Nautilus CC begins with unpacking the unit and its included universal caddy. The caddy is designed to hold the robot and its tangle-free cable. This feature keeps your power cord organized and prevents tangles during transport. You can easily move the vacuum from the pool deck to storage without handling the heavy cable separately. The unit measures 22 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 8 inches high. These dimensions fit into standard poolside spaces. The black finish blends with most outdoor environments.

Daily operation relies on the robot’s internal mechanisms rather than manual intervention. The active scrubbing brush works against pool surfaces to remove debris. This process eliminates the need for you to brush walls or vacuum floors by hand. The unit climbs walls efficiently, ensuring it cleans vertical surfaces as well as the floor. This wall-scrubbing capability works on any pool shape or surface type listed in the specifications.

Filter maintenance is straightforward. The top-load filter basket allows you to remove debris quickly. You lift the lid, extract the collected dirt, and rinse the basket. This simple step helps maintain clear water without complex disassembly. The tangle-free cable holder ensures the power cord does not wrap around the unit during operation or retrieval. You simply place the robot in the water, and it begins its cycle. The caddy remains ready for the next time you need to transport the device. This setup supports a routine where you spend less time on physical cleaning and more time enjoying your pool. The design prioritizes ease of handling and consistent performance for pools up to 33 feet long.

Before You Buy This Pool Robot

Before you buy, verify your pool’s maximum length is 33 feet. This unit is not designed for larger commercial or oversized residential pools. Check your deck space for the caddy. The included universal caddy requires room to sit safely. Ensure you have access to a standard electrical outlet near the pool area. The tangle-free cable holder helps, but cord management remains important. Consider if you need wall-scrubbing capabilities. This model climbs walls efficiently, which is useful for tiled or plaster surfaces. If you have a vinyl liner that is sensitive to abrasion, review the brush type. The active scrubbing brush is gentle but still mechanical. Compare this to the Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi if you want remote control. The CC model lacks app connectivity. You must manually start and stop cycles. Factor in filter maintenance. The top-load basket is easy to empty, but you will need to clean it regularly. This bundle offers a practical entry point into robotic pool cleaning without smart features.

Check before you buy

• Confirm pool length is 33 feet or less.
• Check deck space for the universal caddy.
• Verify standard outlet access near the pool.
• Ensure vinyl liner compatibility with scrubbing brushes.
