Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this model if you have a home with mixed flooring types like hardwood and low-pile carpets. The automatic mopping module lift and carpet suction boost handle transitions smoothly. It suits pet owners well because the Dual Zero-Tangle System minimizes hair wrap. The self-emptying dock with hot water cleaning is ideal for those who want to reduce manual upkeep. The quiet 54 dB operation makes it suitable for homes with children or pets where noise is a concern.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you require 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, as this unit only supports 2.4 GHz networks. If you have large areas with many small obstacles, note that the navigation uses Reactive Tech rather than more advanced laser or camera-based systems. The dimensions are 17.7 inches wide and 15.8 inches high, which may not fit under very low furniture. You might also prefer a different option if you do not want a self-emptying dock, as this is a set configuration.
Verdict: This robot vacuum offers strong suction and edge cleaning for mixed floors. Its self-cleaning dock and pet-friendly brushes reduce daily maintenance.
Key specs explained for you
25,000 Pa Suction
This suction power helps the robot pull embedded dirt from carpets and hard floors. You benefit from deeper cleaning on rugs and low-pile carpets. The unit boosts this power automatically when it detects carpet. This is useful for homes with pets or high foot traffic. Compare this figure with other models to ensure it meets your deep cleaning needs.
1.85 mm Edge Coverage
The FlexiArm system extends the mop pad to clean just 1.85 mm from walls. This reduces missed spots along baseboards and corners. You get more consistent edge cleaning without manual touch-ups. The reversible side brush also aids corner debris removal. This is a key spec for homes with intricate layouts or frequent wall edges.
54 dB Operating Noise
At this noise level, the robot runs quietly during its cleaning cycle. You can operate it while working from home or sleeping without significant disruption. This is ideal for apartments or homes with children and pets. Compare this decibel rating with louder models to find a unit that fits your daily routine and noise sensitivity.
167°F High-Temperature Mop Cleaning
The dock uses hot water to clean the mop pads during self-cleaning. This helps dissolve grease and sticky residues more effectively than cold water. You spend less time manually washing pads. The dock also dries pads with warm air to prevent odors. This spec is important for maintaining hygiene in your mopping routine.
Design and Build Overview
The Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro Set arrives in a black finish. The listing specifies dimensions of 19.5 inches in length, 17.7 inches in width, and 15.8 inches in height. These measurements describe the main unit itself. You should note that other variations in the product family reach up to 20.5 inches. This size profile allows the robot to fit under standard furniture. The compact footprint helps it navigate tight spaces without getting stuck.
The build includes a mop feature as a special characteristic. This indicates the unit is designed for mixed flooring needs. You get a system that vacuums and mops without manual intervention. The design supports automatic mop lifting and removal on carpets. This protects rugs from moisture while you clean hard floors. The structure accommodates the self-emptying dock and water tank.
According to the listing, the unit operates on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. This limits network compatibility but ensures stable connections in many homes. The physical layout prioritizes edge cleaning with its FlexiArm system. You benefit from a design that extends close to walls. The materials and form factor support daily use in homes with pets. The black color helps it blend into most interior decors without drawing attention.
Setup and everyday use details
Setting up the Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro Set begins with placing the multifunctional dock in a suitable location. The listing notes that the dock handles automatic dust emptying, water tank refilling, and mop maintenance. You do not need to manually empty the bin or wash the pads after each cycle. The dock performs high-temperature self-cleaning at 167°F and dries the mop with 113°F warm air. An upgraded cleaning tray with a soaking mode is included to simplify upkeep.
For connectivity, the unit supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. You will need to ensure your network matches this requirement for the app to function. The robot uses Reactive Tech Obstacle Avoidance to navigate around everyday items. Quick Mapping creates your home layout rapidly, while the 3D Map Display allows you to customize cleaning zones with greater accuracy.
Daily operation is managed through Roborock SmartPlan 3.0. This system automatically adjusts cleaning routines based on your home’s layout, floor types, and past cleaning history. The robot lifts its mopping module up to 15 mm when transitioning to carpets and boosts suction for deeper cleaning. It vacuums before mopping to protect rugs. The unit operates at 54 dB, which the listing describes as quiet. This noise level is suitable for homes with children and pets, allowing you to run the robot without significant disruption.
Before you buy this model
You should verify your Wi-Fi environment before purchase. This unit supports only 2.4 GHz networks. If your home uses a dual-band system where 2.4 GHz is weak or blocked, the app connection may fail. You need a stable signal near the dock for mapping and remote control. Check your floor transitions. The mop module lifts up to 15 mm, which handles low thresholds well, but high rugs may still require manual intervention. Consider your maintenance routine. The dock cleans and dries the mop, but you must empty the dustbin and refill water periodically. This model fits well alongside other premium options if you prioritize edge cleaning and pet hair management. It suits mixed-floor homes better than basic vacuums. Ensure your space allows for the dock’s footprint. The 54 dB noise level is quiet, but place it away from living areas if you work from home. Review the obstacle avoidance specs for your specific clutter levels.
Check before you buy
- Confirm your Wi-Fi router supports 2.4 GHz bands
- Measure threshold heights against the 15 mm lift limit
- Check dock space for water refilling and dust emptying
