In this mamnv br151 robot vacuum review, we look at a compact cleaning unit designed for hard floors. It combines vacuuming and mopping into one device. The 2-in-1 function uses a 230ml water tank for wet mopping. It targets homes with laminate, tile, or parquet surfaces. You get a remote and app control for scheduling. This model focuses on basic navigation and maintenance-free operation for everyday dust and pet hair.
What stands out
- 2.87-inch slim height fits under low furniture
- 1400Pa suction handles dust and paper scraps
- 230ml electric water tank for hard floor mopping
- Brushless suction port reduces hair entanglement
- 100-minute runtime on a single charge
Who it fits
Good fit for
This vacuum suits renters or small apartment dwellers with mostly hard floors. The slim design helps it clean under beds and sofas where debris collects. Pet owners who deal with hair on tiles will appreciate the brushless intake. If you want scheduled cleaning via the Tuya app or voice commands with Alexa, this fits your routine. It is also good for users who prefer a remote control option. The self-charging feature means you do not need to move the unit manually.
Who should skip it
Skip this model if you have thick carpets. The 1400Pa suction is modest and the slim chassis may struggle with high-pile rugs. The app only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, so it will not connect to 5GHz networks. If you need precise mapping or room selection, this unit uses basic zig-zag and edge modes. It lacks advanced lidar navigation. Users with large homes needing multi-floor mapping should look elsewhere. The 2-in-1 mopping is simple, not a deep scrub.
Verdict: The MAMNV BR151 is a practical choice for hard-floor maintenance in smaller spaces. Its slim build and hair-resistant intake make it useful for pet owners.
Key specs explained for MAMNV
Suction Power: 1400Pa
This rating indicates the motor strength for lifting debris. You will notice it handles light dust and paper scraps on hard floors. It is less powerful than high-end models, so it may struggle with deep carpet dirt. This spec suits users with mostly tile or laminate floors who need basic daily maintenance rather than deep cleaning.
Height: 2.87 inches
This slim profile allows the unit to slide under low furniture. You can clean under beds, sofas, and cabinets that block larger robots. This height is ideal for tight spaces. If your home has low-clearance areas, this spec ensures you reach corners and edges that standard-sized vacuums cannot access, keeping the whole floor clean.
Battery Capacity: 2500mAh
This capacity supports up to 100 minutes of runtime. You can clean approximately 1290 square feet on a single charge. The robot returns to its base when power is low. This spec fits small to medium homes. Larger houses may require the unit to recharge and resume, which takes extra time to complete the full cleaning cycle.
Water Tank: 230ml
This electric control tank holds water for mopping. You get even penetration on hard surfaces like granite or parquet. The 230ml volume is sufficient for light damp mopping between vacuuming. It is not designed for heavy stains. This spec helps maintain clean hard floors without leaving excessive moisture, making it suitable for daily upkeep of smooth surfaces.
Slim Design and Physical Build
The listing describes the MAMNV BR151 as a compact unit with a black finish. Its physical dimensions are 11.8 inches wide and 11.8 inches long. The height is listed at just 2.87 inches. This slim profile is a key design choice. It allows the robot to slide under low furniture and into tight corners. You can place it in narrow spaces without it getting stuck. The unit weighs 5.73 pounds. This weight suggests a standard plastic chassis rather than heavy metal components.
Controls are accessible via a remote control included in the package. The listing also notes compatibility with the Tuya Smart App for voice commands and scheduling. A 2.87-inch height helps it reach areas that taller robots miss. You can clean under beds or sofas that have limited clearance. The design prioritizes access over raw durability.
The layout includes a 230ml water tank for mopping and a 220ml dustbin. These components are integrated into the slim body. The listing mentions a brushless suction port to prevent hair tangles. This design choice benefits pet owners. It reduces maintenance by avoiding roller brush cleaning. According to the listing, the device automatically returns to its charging dock when the battery is low or cleaning is complete. This self-charging feature keeps the unit ready for use without manual intervention.
Setup and Daily Operation Guide
Setting up the MAMNV BR151 involves placing the charging dock against a wall and connecting the power adapter. You must ensure your home network supports 2.4GHz WiFi, as the Tuya Smart App does not connect to 5GHz bands. Once linked, you can use the app to schedule cleanings or select modes. The package includes a physical remote control with two AAA batteries, which serves as a backup if your phone is unavailable. This remote allows you to start, stop, and direct the unit manually.
During daily use, you can choose from four cleaning modes: Auto, Spot, Edge, or Zig-zag. The Zig-zag path is designed to cover the most area efficiently. You can adjust both vacuum suction and mopping intensity to two levels, letting you tailor the output for laminate, tile, or granite floors. The 230ml electric water tank controls water flow for wet mopping, while the 220ml dustbin collects dry debris. The brushless suction port helps prevent hair clogs, which is useful if you have pets.
The unit runs for up to 100 minutes on a full charge thanks to its 2500mAh battery. It will automatically return to the dock when power is low or cleaning is complete. The 3D obstacle avoidance sensors help it navigate around walls and stairs. You do not need to manually move the robot, as it handles its own recharging. This setup supports a hands-off routine for hard floor maintenance.
