Who it fits

Key specs explained for T90S PRO

Suction Power: 40,000Pa

This rating indicates the vacuum can generate significant air pressure to lift dirt from surfaces. You benefit from deeper cleaning on carpets and hard floors, especially when dealing with embedded dust or pet hair. Higher numbers generally mean better performance on high-pile rugs. Compare this figure with other models to ensure it meets your needs for heavy debris removal.

Mop Mechanism: Roller mop

A rotating roller applies water and scrubbing force directly to the floor. This design helps remove stuck-on messes more effectively than static pads. You will see better results on kitchen spills or dried grime. When shopping, check if the roller lifts to avoid wetting carpets, as this feature protects rugs during mixed-floor cleaning tasks.

Dock Capabilities: Auto dust empty, hot-water wash

The base station handles waste disposal and cleans the mop components automatically. You spend less time maintaining the robot, as it empties dustbins and rinses the roller with heated water. This convenience suits busy households. Look for similar dock features in other units to determine how much manual upkeep you are willing to perform regularly.

Obstacle Avoidance: AIVI 3D 4.0 with LED-assisted vision

This system uses cameras and light to identify objects in your home. It helps the robot navigate around furniture, wires, and pets without collision. You get more reliable mapping and fewer interruptions. Compare the sensor type with other models to see if it offers better detection in low-light conditions or for small, tricky items on the floor.

Design and build of T90S PRO

The ECOVACS DEEBOT T90S PRO Roller Mop Vacuum presents a white, circular chassis with a height of 19.7 inches, a width of 18.1 inches, and a length of 13.3 inches. It weighs 30 pounds. The listing identifies the model as ZJ2622. This substantial weight and size suggest a robust internal structure capable of housing the 40,000Pa suction system and the OMNI Station interface components. The white finish may require regular wiping to maintain its appearance in darker rooms.

According to the listing, the unit features large drive wheels that help it cross single-level thresholds up to 0.98 inches high. This design choice allows the robot to move between rooms with varying floor heights, such as transitions from hardwood to low-pile carpet, without getting stuck. The physical dimensions are critical for navigation in tight spaces. You should ensure your home has adequate clearance for a device of this width and height to avoid collisions with low-hanging furniture or door frames.

The build includes a roller mop mechanism and AIVI 3D 4.0 obstacle avoidance with LED-assisted vision. The TruEdge 3.0 system extends the roller toward baseboards. This mechanical layout prioritizes edge cleaning and furniture navigation. The physical design supports its dual vacuum and mop function, ensuring stability during the scrubbing process. The weight helps anchor the unit against the friction of the roller mop on hard surfaces.

Setup and everyday use

Setting up the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90S PRO involves connecting the OMNI Station to power and linking the unit to your Wi-Fi network. The built-in AGENT YIKO assistant provides voice guidance for initial configuration and troubleshooting, which simplifies the process when you are unfamiliar with the interface. You can also use natural language commands to direct the robot, such as asking it to clean specific rooms, which offers convenience when your hands are occupied.

Daily use relies on the 40,000Pa suction and the OZMO ROLLER 3.0 system. The vacuum uses ZeroTangle 4.0 brushes to manage pet hair and debris, reducing the need for manual brush cleaning. For hard floors, the roller mop employs a 32-way fresh-water flow that rinses continuously while scraping dirty water away in real time. This mechanism helps prevent smearing during routine cleaning sessions.

The dock handles significant maintenance tasks automatically. It features auto dust emptying, hot-water roller washing, and hot-air drying. High-pressure tray rinsing and automatic cleaning-solution dispensing reduce the frequency of manual scrubbing. When the battery is low, PowerBoost Charging restores 10% of the battery in three minutes during mop washing, allowing the robot to resume cleaning sooner. The large drive wheels navigate thresholds up to 0.98 inches high, ensuring smooth transitions between rooms without manual intervention.

Things to consider before buying

Before you buy, check your home layout against the T90S PRO’s dimensions. At 19.7 inches tall, it fits under most standard furniture, but verify clearance for your lowest cabinets. The OMNI Station requires significant floor space for auto-emptying and hot-water washing. Ensure you have a nearby power outlet and enough room for the dock’s depth. This model excels in mixed-floor homes due to its roller lift and physical cover, reducing moisture on carpets. If you have thick rugs, confirm the 0.98-inch threshold height is manageable for your specific rug edges. The AIVI 3D 4.0 vision system handles clutter well, but loose wires or dark objects may still require manual clearing. Consider whether your daily messes involve sticky spills, as the fresh-water scrubbing system is designed for that. Compare this roller-mop approach to pad-based mops in other 1 options. If you prefer hands-off maintenance, the auto-cleaning dock is a major benefit. However, you must regularly empty the dustbin and clean the water tanks yourself between dock cycles. Voice control via YIKO simplifies commands, but you still need the app for detailed mapping. This unit suits busy households with pets and hard floors.

Check before you buy

• Verify dock clearance for auto-empty and water tank access.
• Check if your rugs exceed the 0.98-inch threshold height.
• Ensure your lowest furniture allows the 19.7-inch height.
• Confirm Wi-Fi stability for AIVI 3D mapping updates.
