How alternatives compare to BRINBO
AIPER Surfer S2 Solar Pool Skimmer
The AIPER Surfer S2 Solar Pool Skimmer is lighter at 12.6 pounds compared to the BRINBO SK02’s 15.8 pounds. It shares the same solar power and app control features. The AIPER model adds obstacle avoidance, which helps it navigate around pool fixtures without getting stuck. This is a practical upgrade if you have complex pool layouts. The BRINBO unit includes a chlorine tablet dispenser, a feature the AIPER lacks. You also get a slightly more compact footprint with the AIPER, measuring 16.3 by 21.3 inches. If you prioritize easier maneuverability and automated obstacle detection over chemical maintenance, this alternative fits your needs.
Beatbot iSkim Solar Pool Skimmer
The Beatbot iSkim Solar Pool Skimmer is significantly larger than the BRINBO SK02, measuring 23 by 23 inches. It targets saltwater pool owners who need extended runtime. The Beatbot model is designed for long-lasting surface cleaning, making it suitable for larger pools or extended cycles. Both units offer app control and solar power. The Beatbot lacks the specific dimensions and weight data of the BRINBO, but its size suggests a higher capacity for debris. If you have a large saltwater pool and need a skimmer that stays active for longer periods without frequent recharging, the Beatbot is a stronger choice than the BRINBO.
Betta Neo Solar Pool Skimmer
The Betta Neo Solar Pool Skimmer is the lightest option at 9 pounds, much lighter than the BRINBO’s 15.8 pounds. It is ideal for above-ground pools and offers robust long-range app control. It fits buyers who want advanced navigation features over the specific chemical maintenance capabilities of the BRINBO SK02.
Supclean Wi-Fi Solar Pool Skimmer
The Supclean Wi-Fi Solar Pool Skimmer is wider and longer than the BRINBO SK02, measuring 26.2 by 18 inches. It emphasizes Wi-Fi connectivity for app management. Both models provide solar power and surface cleaning. The Supclean unit is designed for owners of large pools who want to eliminate manual skimming entirely. It lacks the chlorine dispenser feature present in the BRINBO. The Supclean’s larger surface area may cover more water per pass.
