Specifications side by side

Choosing the Right AIPER Pool Cleaner

1. Check Power Source Type

All models in this guide are cordless. This design removes the need for a power cord, allowing you to move the unit freely without tangling. You simply charge the battery and place the cleaner in the water. This setup offers greater flexibility during cleaning sessions. It also reduces the risk of tripping over cables near the pool edge. Ensure your charging area is accessible and dry for safe storage after use.

2. Match Pool Surface Shape

Select a model based on your pool geometry. The ScubaSE is ideal for small above-ground pools under 860 square feet. The Seagull SE suits flat or round surfaces. If you have a round pool, the Seagull SE 2025 provides reliable suction for that specific shape. Matching the cleaner to your pool’s layout ensures efficient coverage. Avoid units designed for different shapes, as they may miss spots or navigate poorly.

3. Evaluate Special Features

Look for self-parking capabilities if you want convenience. The ScubaSE includes this feature, allowing it to return to a dock or edge automatically. This simplifies retrieval after a cleaning cycle. Other models prioritize simplicity or water purification over automated docking. Decide if you value hands-off retrieval or basic operation. These features impact how much effort you spend managing the device after each run.

4. Consider Size and Weight

Dimensions affect storage and handling. The ScubaSE measures 13.2 by 13.4 inches. The Seagull SE 2025 is slightly narrower at 11 inches wide. Weight varies, with the Seagull SE 2025 weighing 7.5 pounds and the Scuba SE 2024 at 8.8 pounds. Heavier units may feel more stable but require more effort to lift out. Measure your storage space to ensure the cleaner fits comfortably when not in use.

5. Assess Cleaning Priority

Determine if you need wall cleaning or floor-only focus. The Scuba SE 2024 is practical for small to medium pools where floor cleaning is the main goal. It offers cordless convenience and fast drainage. If you require comprehensive wall cleaning, check the specific capabilities of each model. Some units prioritize simplicity and dry hands over advanced wall scrubbing. Align your choice with the areas of the pool you clean most often.
